DNV Dee Marathon - some may be surprised at Ron
featuring this strange, alternative watersport (kayaking and canoeing) where
competitors can actually see where they are going!
The Committee of the Dee were happy to support Integrate Paddling in
this venture and Ron & Stuart snapped away, producing 423 photographs for
your entertainment. |

These pictures explain why racing was abandoned! They may also re-open
the flotation debate. Looking at winners and losers (in a vertical
direction), I think I might feel happier in a Vespoli eight rather than a
Resolute. Clearly lots of other factors are involved but full marks to
the Vespoli crew for staying (mostly) afloat. |
